We're using Elixir for our real-time services like our notification engine. We are also rolling it out for some in dashboard real-time functionality. While introducing a new language into a team, it is always important to consider how many of the engineers are sufficiently able to execute tasks with it. In our case, those that had to learn Elixir learned very quickly.
